Hawaiian Birthday Boy!

Since we were on the island about a week before Hudson's 1st Birthday we decided it was only appropriate to celebrate ISLAND STYLE...so we made dinner reservations at the Shore Bird down on Waikiki Beach...bought an adorable hawaiian button down shirt...and even got the fresh Hawaiian Ginger Lei for the birthday boy!
It was a FUN night for everyone! Our family (Aunt Roz and Uncle Willie who live here along with Donovan, Desiree, Mahina, and Kainani) all joined us down on the beach for a sunset dinner!
The place was breathtaking...it had the most amazing views of the beach...ocean...and diamond head in the background! It was a place I had never been to before BUT for sure want to go back!
The Food was wonderful...the island music was fantastic..and like I said the views were amazing! It was the PERFECT spot for a 1st Birthday Celebration. Hudson entertained everyone including others sitting in our area...he SMILES at each and every person he meets. He is such a flirt... He ate and ate all of the food. He tried island sweet potatoes which are PURPLE..he ate cheese..bread..peas..pasta..pineapple..chicken..veggies..ice cream and brownie...HE WAS A STUFFED HAWAIIAN BOY! He sat and entertained everyone the entire time we were at dinner...which was a LONG time. He was just smiling and clapping and dancing in his chair. He wore his Lei the entire night...I think he loved that fragrant smell of the flowers. By the end of the night I thought he was going to be ready to HULA...he was FULL of himself!

It was such a FUN Unique experience for all of us...This is a pre-birthday party that beats no other!! He is going to cherish these pictures one day...when he looks back on this ONE OF A KIND 1st birthday celebration out in the Pacific Ocean...on the small little island of Oahu!
