Last Sunday 2 WONDERFUL decorators, Alesha & Amanda, and I put up ALL of our Christmas decorations inside and out! and let me say...it was HARD WORK..we worked from 9:30am until around 5:00 pm! however I absolutely LOVE all of our unique items that we transform our house with during the holidays.... WE basically replaced all of our everyday items with CHRISTMAS things....right down to the salt and pepper shakers. It was SO neat to see Hudson's eyes light up as he explored from ROOM to ROOM looking at all of the holiday decor. He especially loves the ornaments on the bottoms of the trees that he uses as TOYS! He grabs an ornament one at a time....spins it across the hardwood transforming the ornament into a spinning top! He loves to watch it spin out of control....then he hurries up to catch it and spin it again! GUESS what.... as he takes them off we're not replacing them...so our trees are going to be a little bare at the bottom!
Oh the joys of watching your child during Christmas...it's amazing to see the MAGIC in Hudson's eyes....
